So this is what we did :)

We used screws I had on hand to do this marbled paper technique
Here's the card I made out of it. 

SAF2105: Mixing Patterns or Colors Challenge

Wasn't quite ready to mix patterns, but chose an unusual color combo at least for me.

Stamps: Love Potion

SAF2105: Pins and Needles Challenge

Used one of the Patterns from the Patterns Challenge for this one as well

Did mostly tone on tone (black, gray, soft stone and white) with the pop of color from the pins.  Stamps are all from Natural Beauties. Tag is Tag Sale #5.

SAF2015: Threads Challenge

Used the Hombre Builder stamp set, the heart die  and sentiment on green are from Sprinkles and Shakers, and the You is from one of  the Phrase Play sets

SAF2015: Pattern Challenge

Like but definitely could be better.  Definite candidate for the "Make It Work" challenge later today

SAF2015: Bridal Challenge

Trying to get things done so really short post.  This card is for the Papertrey Ink Stamp-a-faire 2015

Challenge 1: Bridal (white on white) challenge

Completely non-traditional. I had this in my head from the time I heard about the challenge.

A flurry of weddings

We went to the wedding of a dear friend last night.  Even though it was quite blizzardy out it was beautiful.  They lit a Chinese lantern and sent it flying as part of the ceremony.  It was so pretty.  Plus we have 2 more weddings coming in the next month or so.  So I had to get busy making wedding cards.

For this one, the invites were really modern so I used a modern chevron embossing folder and stripes in their wedding colors.

For this one it was vintage elegance (or country elegance ... the bride wore a beautiful white dress and cowboy boots:) )

I used a viney stamp the I have that reminds me of a shelf and put the words on top.  This was actually mimicking the theme of their invitations too. 

Apparently I'm in a white on white mood for most cards these days.  But it works.
