CPS 219

A friend at work asked me if I had time to make her a graduation card this week.  Since already had the CPS sketch for this week printed, it's Make It Monday and I wanted to stamp tonight anyway, I said SURE :)  MIM was making Sympathy cards to day so I didn't get to use a technique from there, but the CPS sketch I thought was perfect

I liked the plaid paper I made so much on this card  that I decided to make some more using the high school colors.  The actual colors are purple teal and silver, but I used Basic Gray instead of the Silver.  The other colors are Bermuda Bay and Concorde Crush.  I created the plaid using stamps from Ribbon Tails and Background Basics: Retro.  I stamped off the solid ribbon tail once to lighten up the gray.

Thanks for stopping by!

{Supplies - SU! unless noted}
Stamps: For the Grad, Ribbon Tails, Background Basics:Retro [PTI]
Ink: Basic Gray, Concorde Crush
Paper: Concorde Crush, Bermuda Bay, White
Other: Basic Gray Satin ribbon, Designer Label punch; Oval nestabilities [Spellbinders]
