Now that I'm caught up with the challenges, I can finally write up more than just the ingredients.
This challenge was Starry Night with Amy Sheffer.
Wow, this challenge was really a ,well, challenge. I really struggled and fussed with the darker colors. Then it didn't look like enough of the lighter colors. I finally had to just step back and I decided I liked the look (especially after the hubs came down and said "Oh cool".
I almost messed the whole thing up on the trees! I didn't have a makeup wedge and thought a sponge would work OK. It did for trunks but not the branches. Fortunately I have been taking some paint along classes and we've done some things similar to the trees so I took a brush and touched them up. I really like how they turned out.
I tried and tried to make that string nest. I need to go back and wathc the tutorials on those because mine never come out. They always look either too sparse or too clumpy. I guess that's what I get for not crafting much since last years SAF :)
Then I remembered the shakers and sprinkles make it kit I bought ages ago ... it had silver stars!! so I added those with the rhinestones and voila!
Stamps: Inspired: Lord (PTI)

Your sky is absolutely gorgeous! You've inspired me to bring out the secondary colors way more than I did on mine!
