I used this week's Sunday Sketch to make notes for my college girl and her friends ... only 2 weeks of school left so I wanted to wish them luck on finals.
Colors are Crumb Cake and Early Espresso
Stamps are BB:Newsprint and You're My Type
I used one of the SU! Edgelits to make the asymmetric border on the top and bottom.
Thanks for stopping!
Maureen, I like how you used the edgelit to make the border -- very clever. Great card!
ReplyDeleteGreat card! I have that stamp, which I've used before, but your background paper is so perfect for it! And the border is flat out amazing!
ReplyDeleteOh, wait! I just reread your post. That background is a stamp? Even cooler. I must find it!
ReplyDeleteThe edge punch is so different and curvy...could give an art deco flavor to a different card. Love the typewriter with the newsprint. Glenda F
ReplyDeleteVery nice card. Good use of the Edgelet.

ReplyDeleteLove the asymetrical border. Super card!
ReplyDeleteThis is great! Love how you did the edge!
ReplyDeleteLove both of your cards! What a lovely way to send good thoughts to you daughter and her friends!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Maureen! Very clever use of the edge die, I'll have to remember that! Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
ReplyDeleteI have always liked this vintage typewriter stamp and just love what you did with it!
