Weekend Projects

The project I have to show today is for my monthly stamp class.  Its a patriotic theme even though its after the Fourth. Still its in July so I think that counts.

I used clear acetate for the card base.  I haven't made a clear card in a while and I don't think I've ever done one for my class so this should be fun.  I used Pure Poppy striped paper for the front and back covers (the front and back have the same red layer on them).  Inside I added white card stock to cover the adhesive lines of the red on the outside.

The star is from Star Prints, stamped in Midnight Muse on white cards stock.  I used one of the more open stamps so the white shown through the blue.  The button is a Enchanted Evening vintage button tied with natural jute.

The sentiment is also from Star Prints and stamped in Midnight Muse directly on the patterned paper. The banners were cute form Midnight Muse card stock using the Double Ended Banner die
