CPS 180 - school days

School has started here in my neck of the woods.  My girls were actually excited to go back which surprised me ... a lot!!!  Usually they are wanting to extend summer much longer than it is.  I used the CPS sketch this week and some school themed stamps and made this card:

I used a River Rock card base (SO glad SU! brought this color back!!!) and then started making layers. 

I made the ruler using Its Official and So Saffron card stock.  The sentiment is from Its Official as well.  I also embossed it with my wood grain impression plate.  The vintage wood buttons and sentiment finish out the sketch. 

I used my new lacey square nestabilities for the focal layer and stamped the carmel apple and sticks from Friendship Jar Fall Fillers.  I colored with my Copics 0 not sure why it bled so much, but I till like how it turned out
