I got to play today so I decided to use the Operation Write Home Sunday Sketch #51
I didn't strictly follow the sketch because I just had to use my teapot die ... it should have been a circle .... oh well :)
I thought this would make a good general/friendship card to put in my next OWH shipment
Thanks for stopping by!
{Supplies - PTI unless noted}
Stamps: Tea For Two
Ink: Aqua Mist, Ripe Avocado
Paper: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla [SU!]; Ripe Avocado, Aqua Mist, Tea Leaves patterned
Other: Tea For Two die, Sketch YG93 [Copic]
Beautiful card! I don't think it matters that you used a tea pot instead of a circle. It came out great!
ReplyDeleteI think the sketch police will give you a pass ;) This card is adorable, I love it. A great example of how to use a sketch as a jumping-off point! Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE the teapot die! Seeing how people add their own creativity is what makes the sketch challenges so much fun. Beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet card. I like your paper pieced teapot.
ReplyDeleteAdore the teapot and your PP! Beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteYour card is what creativity is about, and it is wonderful how you used the design...the teapot is perfect there as well as your choice of papers. I find that's the most difficult part of making a good card to go with an image and sentiment. You "engineered" it beautifully!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! I love the papers and the teapot it just so cute! Great job!
ReplyDeletegreat card - love the teapot
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. Nice card.
