Over the weekend there was an
OWH tutorial on making pinwheels. I didn't get a chance to play then, but they had a re-do today so I decided I better take the opportunity while I had it.
I used 1.5" and 2" squares instead of the tutorials 3'. Otherwise I followed the instructions.
I used a crumb cake base, and created the sky and ground with Spring Rain and Spring Moss card stock. I sponged some Fresh Snow ink to make clouds.
For the pinwheels I used Welcome Neighbor from SU! [retired] and Raspberry Fizz buttons

Hi! Glad you got to try the pinwheels! I'm bookmarking your blog. I've been scrolling back through it and wonder if you might want to do a tutorial for S&S sometime. Maybe demonstrate a technique like the sponging around the poppies, or the rocking thing you were talking about with the shading. Let me know if you're interested. kate@operationwritehome.org
