Grad Card Week - Day 1

I have 8 graduation parties to go to in the next month so I thought I would use the sketch challenges out on the web to make some fun and new layouts.
This one is for Jen Del Muro's Sketch For You To Try weekly sketch challenge. The graduation card is for a great teenager at my church.
The color combo is PTI's Raspberry Fizz, Hibiscus Burst, and Dark Chocolate. I tried to edge the chocolate with white craft ink but it started to smear around, so I turned it into a new treatment of lightening the dark chocolate by rubbing white ink all over :o) I stamped the medium dots from PTIs Polka Dot Basics in dark brown over the smeared white ... I kinda like how it turned out, for all that it started out as a mistake.
I cut the butterfly out with my Bigz Beautiful Butterflies die and the Friends til the End patterned paper and used a chocolate vintage button with some linen thread tied through it for the center.
The sentiment is from Mega Mixed Messages. I also sponged the white layer with basic brown and spritzed it with pink passion.
Inside I used the cut out from the butterfly die and my color spritzer to bring both the color and the shape to the inside of the card.
Thanks for stopping by.
